The people who use our products include clinicians with low vision, paramedics wearing gloves in the dark, patients with tremors, and administrators who navigate by keyboard. Accessibility is a design requirement for us, not a review at the end.
This website
We aim for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Our body typeface was chosen for legibility at small sizes and for people with low vision. Text and controls meet AA contrast, every function works from the keyboard, and the Professionals menu opens and closes without a mouse.
We test with automated tools on every change and with screen readers and keyboard-only use before significant releases.
Our products
- Formcloud and the customer portal are designed to WCAG 2.2 AA and tested with screen readers on Windows and macOS.
- Nexa Edge Home has no screen to read. Its status light uses pattern as well as color, so it can be understood by people with color vision deficiency.
- Axon Sense adhesive changes can be done one-handed, and the instructions are available in large print and as audio.
- Nexa Edge Vehicle status messages on the crew's monitor use plain words, not codes.
Accessibility conformance reports
We publish an accessibility conformance report for each software product, covering WCAG 2.2, Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act, and EN 301 549. Public agencies usually need these for procurement.
| Product | Standards | Report date |
|---|---|---|
| Formcloud 4.3 | WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508, EN 301 549 | June 2026 |
| Customer portal | WCAG 2.2 AA, Section 508, EN 301 549 | June 2026 |
| Lattice Bench Studio 2.8 | WCAG 2.2 AA (software adaptation), Section 508 | August 2026 |
| Nexa Edge Configurator 1.9 | Section 508 | July 2026 |
To request a report, write to accessibility@nexaformlabs.com or ask your account team. Public sector buyers can also ask the public agencies team, who will send it with the rest of the procurement pack.
Known issues
Some data tables on this site scroll sideways on small screens, which can be awkward with screen magnification. Some older PDF instructions for use are not fully tagged; accessible versions are available on request while we replace them.
